Countryside Portrait Scholarship Seniors 2009

We will be giving away a $500 senior portrait scholarship for a deserving 2009 senior this year. This scholarship will include the session fee and balance towards senior portraits. In-Studio credit only.

To apply for this scholarship we're asking applicants to write a brief essay in their own words (about 100) why they should be considered for a senior portrait scholarship. Some of the things we will be looking for are your GPA, volunteer work, financial hardship~we understand not everyone can afford fine art senior portraiture, and something you've accomplished personally to help someone else just to name a few.

We will be accepting essays through July 10, 2008 either by email at cynthia@countrysidephotond.com or mail to Countryside Photography 7219 Ponderosa Drive, Fargo, ND 58104. Be sure to include your name, address and phone number. The scholarship will be chosen July 16, 2008 and the winner will be notified.

We love children so much that we decided to have a contest to showcase some fresh new faces this spring. All children sessions are 25% off during this contest. One lucky winner will receive a $100 gift certificate good towards childrens portraits on your next session.

"Trash the Dress" Sessions!

So, what's all the buzz about? At Countryside Photography we're excited to offer the new "Trash the Dress" sessions you may have heard about. These stunning and dramatic high fashion style sessions are just what brides of all ages are looking for.

Ponder this for a moment...You've spent all of your childhood dreaming of your wedding day but most importantly your wedding dress, and how you'll look and feel in it. Why pack it away to collect dust and never to be seen or worn again!

Despite what the name implies, a Trash the Dress session doesn't necessarily mean destroying the dress; it simply means doing things in your wedding dress that you couldn't do on your wedding day. Think of the possibilities! Dramatic shots of you in wooded areas, going to the local train tracks, going to the family farm & fields, walking around downtown, under bridges and going for a swim in the lake. The sky is the limit!

This is a great way for brides to have an opportunity to wear their dresses again and to look and feel like high fashion models. These sessions are not just for the newly married woman but for every woman with a bridal gown. Let us provide you with a "Once in a Lifetime Experience" with dramatic and sassy images that will WOW your husband. Artistic images that you really wanted on your wedding day! Ready? The "Trash the Dress" session includes going to various on-location areas. Up to a 55 mile radius of the Fargo-Moorhead area included. Additional mileage is $.50/mile. It includes 4 hours of photography and a printable CD/DVD of images for your personal use with a Reproduction Release. Regular session fee is $500. Our special offer is $150 off this session.
